Send your scenarios to Matt@dataDyneHQ.com.

Save the President - Sent in by: EGM

Setup: Choose a CowardSim, give him the body of the president who appears in the one player game and put him on your team of four human/bot players. Then choose three or four Kamikaze sims and make them the opposing team, or vice versa.

Game: Continue to stop the opposing team so they don’t kill your president. Or if you are the opposing team kill the president!

Farsighted - Sent in by: EGM

Setup: Stick the FarSight XR-20 in slot number one, so it spawns nearly everywhere, then choose a large level filled with small rooms. Build a team of three simulants to battle your group of human players. Throw whatever other guns you like into the vacant weapon slots.

Game: As soon as the game starts, all the human players need to grab FarSights and meet up in one of the level’s rooms (you should agree on a meeting room before you kick off the scenario). Then, standing back-to-back, everyone needs to pick off the simulant enemies from afar, with the FarSight, before the sims find your team’s room and slaughter the lot of you with their close-range weapons.

Man with the Golden Dragon - Sent in by: Joanna32

Setup: Set game mode to One Shot Kills and put the Super Dragon in slot one with no other weapons.

Game: One person has the Super Dragon and the rest can only use punch/disarm. The first person goes around killing others while the hunted try to get close enough to disarm and steal the Super Dragon. That is if you get close enough. The winner is who ever has the most kills and less deaths.

Command & Conquer - Sent in by: Luger

Setup: Set game to Capture the flag. Any weapons in the six slots will do. Four PredatorSims

Game: Have one or two players guard the flag with preferably Lap Top guns and strategically place turrents around the room. Then have one person guarding the entrance the base with preferably Sniper Rifles and sniper enemies attempting to enter your base. The last person with be the forwarder who will rush the enemies base with powerful fast automatics or explosives. You can also have the entrance guard become a forwarder so you have more firepower.

Pinball Mine Mayhem - Sent in by: Twostupidguys_927

Setup: Just put Remote Mines in slot six and no other weapons or gadgets. One Shot Kills.

Game: The secondary function for Remote Mines are Pinball Mines, and they bounce everywhere. They don't stop bouncing for a while. Just imagine tens of Pinball Mines bouncing everywhere and you trying to dodge them while you shoot off your own! You'll never who's Pinball Mines they are until they kill you.

Sniper's Paradise - Sent in by: GorillyKidRock

Setup: Put the sniper rifle in slot one, then a shield in slot six, and if you want, maybe one pistol. You get some TurtleSims (good snipers, cuz' they hide, and are strategic!) and at least one player (duh!). Then turn off radar, and turn on One Shot Kills. Set it to a nice, big level, with lots of ledges, and hiding spots. Ravine, from what I heard, is gonna be a good one for this. Oh yeah, and give your characters camouflage clothes, to fit in with the surrounding.

Game: This is an awesome game, trust me. It's fun, just waiting for each other, and creeping around, looking for other players!

Battle for Mankind - Sent in by: Frog Dude1

Setup: Choose either the King of the Hill or Capture the Flag scenarios, with One Shot Kills. Make a team consisting of 2 player-controlled aliens and 0-8 alien simulants, and another team consisting of 2 player-controlled humans. Choose 3 alien weapons and 3 normal weapons. The best two players should control the two humans, because the other team will have simulants on their side.

Game: The minority human race (2 players) fights against a larger alien race (2-10 players). In King of the Hill, both sides fight to gain control of the territory. In Capture the Flag, both sides try to protect their flag while stealing the other. Either works out excellently and the it is very easy to distinguish teammates from enemies. Number and ability of alien simulants allows you to set up an extremely even fight.

Counter-Strike - Sent in by: Feanor of Noldor

Setup: There can be only human players. One of you is chosen "terrorist" with a suiting skin. Put Remote Mines (perhaps proximity, just to boost up the difficulty) in one slot, any other kind of weapon in the others.

Game: The non-terrorist players shut their eyes or leave the room. The terrorist picks up some mines and puts a selected number (i.e. 10 mines) around different places in the level. When he is done he hides somewhere (or just stands somewhere). The other players now must find all the mines and blow them up, using a weapon (not mines), without being blown up themselves, perhaps within a certain time(i.e. 10 mins). When the time is up the terrorist pushes the remote-trigger. If a mine blows up when he does, the terrorist wins, otherwise the counter-terrorists wins. You can set your life to whatever level you want, but it's more fun to have low life, so you'll die if you're to close a mine.

Quick Draw - Sent in by: Robert Broeker

Setup: One Shot Kills, Falcon 2 in slot one all the way through to six. Facility.

Game: You all met in the blue bottom floor room in the facility, the one without guns near the entrance to the long hall ways that lead to the gas containers. You pick a corner and don't equip a gun. Then someone yells draw and you all drew our guns and fired, but you couldn't move just shoot. Some of the most fun you can have is when someone doesn't put away their gun when they came into the room then everyone got paranoid because of the gun aimed at their heads and a bloodbath ensued that continued until someone got twenty kills because every time you all got in the room someone would start firing to get back at someone from the last round.

Command Center - Sent in by: Frog Dude1

Setup: Create 2-4 teams with one player controlling each one. Give each team 2-4 DarkSims. Normal scenario with One Shot Kills. Any gun options will do, but more powerful weapons like grenade launchers will make it more interesting.

Game: The game of choice for those who prefer strategy over combat. Each player controls their squad of DarkSims using their full capacity to kill. This scenario could become extremely complicated, especially when trying to give orders to multiple simulants, but could work excellently when you have a group of experienced players.

Perfect Base - Sent in by: Frog Dude1

Setup: Create a team of 3, consisting of 1 extremely good player and 2 PerfectSims. Create another team with 3 good players. Normal scenario, One Shot Kills, and a 20 minute game limit. Choose the Farsight as the 6th (least common) weapon, and add a couple of other powerful weapons (be sure to include grenade launchers).

Game: The three "decent" players fight against slim odds to defeat the Perfect team, who is allowed to find the Farsight and then camps out in that area. The three-player team has 20 minutes to take over the base with a barrage of grenade launchers and other weapons. Getting all three members of the team out of the base constitutes "taking over the base."

Kill the President - Sent in by: Frog Dude1

Setup: Put one player, who will act as the President, on a team with 3 Dark simulants. Create another team with three excellent players. Normal scenario, One Shot Kills, 10-20 minute time limit.

Game: The President player has the group of 3 Dark simulants defend him as the other 3 human players attack. (And he can obviously defend himself, too.) He needs to survive for the specified time limit.

Men Against The Devil - Sent in by: Nick

Setup: Create two teams, a Devil team with one powerful sim which is set at maxium health and a Men team with 4 players and 7 sims at low health. Any level, any weapons and 10 min. limit.

Game: The Men must team up with the sole purpose of destroying the Devil in 10 min.

James Cameron's Aliens - Sent in by: Halfdomeguy

Setup: A chance for Joanna to play Ripley... If you're a fan of the James Cameron action classic, this is the one for you: Put you and 1 - 3 of your friends on one side and pit yourselves against 6 - 8 KaziSims. Give yourselves the bodies of humans and the sims the bodies of aliens - short ones if the rumored height option makes the final cut. Throw some grenade launchers, laptop guns, a low-tech loud pistol (think the DD44) and the inevitable shotgun into the mix along with IR Goggles and some armor; you'll need it since the KaziSims will all be set to "Perfect" or "Dark" difficulty. If you've opened it up, enable the rumored "perfect darkness" cheat to turn the lights off in the level. Facility would definitely be fun, but I recommend playing this in the Temple where it will be tough to keep your back safely to a wall. Could also be fun with FistSims and the "One-Hit-Kills" option enabled. The Avenger weapon's proximity detector would also be a fun reminder of the movie. LEAVE RADAR ON! IT'S YOUR MOTION DETECTOR!

Game: As you're spawned, find the other humans and band together in an easily defendable and previously determined place (ready for some bathroom mayhem?) using the laptop guns to defend. Like in the movie, only one human (with the IR goggles) will be able to see the aliens coming, though the light from the laptop guns firing will let you know when they're close. Should be intense!! See how long you can hold out and remember to keep your shotgun handy - "for close encounters." ;)

Brief Command - Sent in by: Lordmaulaz

Setup: One human(you), 8 bots (all normalsims set on hard). Game type: Capture the briefcase. Arena: Any map. Weapons: Slot one - RCP-120, Slot two - Prox mines, Slot three - MagSec4, Slot four - Laptop gun, Slot five - FarSight-XR20 Slot six - Cloaking Device. Teams: You and 3 bots Vs. other 5 bots (if your friends want to play put 2 on your team, the other 1 on the opposing team). Options: Radar off, no doors. Time limit: 20 minutes (or however long you want).

Game: Use the RC-P120 as weapons when you are on offense, since you can cloak yourself w/ it, but remember that you cannot fire when cloaked. Find the MagSec and use it as a sidearm. Use the FarSight when on defense protecting your base. Defend your base with prox. mines and Laptop guns as turrets. Give one sim the defend command in your base in case an enemy breaks through your base's defenses, give another one the follow and protect command, give the last one the command to retrieve your team's briefcase if taken by the enemy. Objective: Capture enemies briefcase as many times as you can. If you see an enemy, ignore him, only kill him if necessary. Be careful not to set of your own prox. mines, the laptop guns should not fire at you. Before you go back out to get the briefcase again, check the laptop guns for their ammo count, reload if necessary. Find the rare (since they are in slot six) IR Goggles a look out for cloaked enemies.

Predator and Prey - Sent in by: Mike (Seth) Bosetti

Setup: Make 2 teams. One team is your team, as many humans as you want (best with 2 humans and 1 PredatorSim for FPS) and 1-2 PredatorSims, depending on how many humans are on your team. Make the PredatorSims Normal or Below. Make the other team a team of 1-6 CowardSims, on high difficulty (just to make it fair!). Throw in a FarSight for 6 ,cloaking for slot 5, body armor for 4, and some other weapons you think would be cool for this scenario.

Game: This is kinda like a safari hunt, chasing down scared animals, who may throw in some shots while running away. See how fast your team can get 20 frags Note: This would also be cool if you had an alliance with another human team, and saw who could hunt down the most cowards!

The Hacker Central - Sent in by: Marc

Setup: In this game you need to pick the hacker game mode. Then someone has to be Joanna and one person has to be someone similar to Boris. And the other two should be guards.

Game: Joanna and the hacker has to go to the computer room and there Joanna has to protect Boris from the other guards. The hacker is not aloud to pick up weapons. I hope you enjoy my scenario. I used to play this in Goldeneye and I thought that it was really fun.

Explosive Combat - Sent in by Perfect Dark: 014

Setup:
Scenario: Combat
Options: One-Hit-Kills, Fast movement
Area: Complex
Weapons: Falcon 2, CMP150, AR53, Proximity Mines
Limits: Unlimited Time, Score 10
Simulants: None
Teams: None

Game: If explosive action is what you seek, then this custom setup should be a blast. The twists and turns of the Complex add an extra dimension, since you really need to know the area well to ambush enemies. But what really makes this match interesting is the amount of power packed into such a compact arena. It gets really exciting because just one touch of an explosion will kill you.

Perfectly Dead - Sent in by: Jason Schroedl

Setup: Have either a stimulant or a human as Joanna Dark. If Joanna is a stimulant then place the difficulty above average (duh!). Have any number of stimulants and humans on teams. If you want you can have some people on Joanna's team. Normal scenario setting with any weapons and any stage and any limit on kills and time.

Game: Have Joanna go against who ever there is and see how well the person/stimulant is.

Exploding CheetaSims - Sent in by: Mike (Seth) Bosetti

Setup: Make as many teams as you want, just make sure that your opposing team is made of mainly CheetaSims (you can throw in other bots to make it interesting). Choose any level with an open room, lots of entrances (no doors is best for this scenario), and good hiding places. Put remote mine in the lowest spot (provide more fun than other mines) and some regular old pistols (or the FarSight) in the other lowest spots. This works best with Complex on GE, using the "underground" room where remote mines appear to guard. Set life to -10, and throw some Shields in there. I don't care what the frag/time limit is. Try adding a PerfectSim for fun!

Game: You and your team take over a room, while the CheetaSim team try and breach your safehouse. Use the FarSight (or the pistol you chose) to pick them off from your gaurded room (have one use the mines and one use the farsight so you don't get caught off guard when they come). Try to kill them before the can get in and attack you. Their speed may make them hard to blow-up, or like in GE, it's possible to run through exploding mines (very hard!), and I'm sure the cheating DarkSim could get through them.

StRoNgHoLd - Sent in by: Mike (Seth) Bosetti

Setup: Make 2 teams, one team consisting of 1-2 humans, 2 TurtleSims, and a VendettaSim. Make the other team 1-2 human, and and pretty much the same bots. Make it One-Shot kills, capture the flag style. Add shields in slot 6 so it spawns least, fairly decent pistols in slots 3&4, and in slot 5, none other than the FarSight! I don't care how you set the kills, and try to make the teams fair, or else this will suck!

Game: The 2 teams will have a great defender, with shields, to guard their flag, and waste people using the FarSight. Meanwhile, you and your "offense" will go and try to infultrate each others StRoNgHoLd. The best offensive weapon for this would of course be pistols, cause if your trying to get a lock, your gonna be dead, so stick your TurtleSims with 'em!

Slayer to be Slayed - Sent in by: Robert Miller

Setup: Up to 4 players but no Sims. Set all of the weapons to Slayer except for 5 or 6 which is a Shield. Set the arena to the Warehouse or the Fortress. (Why you ask, no doors in these levels but they are big with lots of nooks and cranies.)

Game: Everyone must pick one place and not just a room. It should be a corner or a particular place in a room, though each player can be in any room in the level. You can determine this beforehand or just when you start everyone run to someplace (everyone will see where everyone is at the beginning). Everybody only uses the "Fly-By-Wire" rocket option. The main rule, you can only kill other people if you fire from your place. You can, however, fire rockets to take out other rockets from other places or leave the place to get more ammo. You then often find yourself detonating your rocket before it gets to anyone just so you can jump out of the way of another rocket. Also, anywhere is a good to hide, even in vents. Once you get better at controlling the Slayer, those places are no problem.

Hunting - Sent in by: Ryan Johnson

Setup: This one isn't too challenging, but good for a few hundred laughs. Drop some realistic weapons into each slot. The shotgun, in my opinion, has to be there. In the end, it doesn't matter though, whatever you find to work. I'm not fond of putting explosives or grenades of any sort in, it makes things a little TOO chaotic, but try those if you're feeling nuts. Next, throw in a ton of CowardSim stimulants set on Meat, and make them all little aliens. Pick a nice open level, we like to use the Car Park. Set your player handicaps very high so you don't have to worry about dying at all, even if you're accidentally shot by your friend. Put you and your human friends on one team, and all the aliens on another. Time to go hunting! Set it on 15 minutes or so, and see who can bag the most kills.

Game: Me and a friend racked up forty or fifty a piece in a 15 minute limit! As an added bonus, just for laughs, we put one human head on one of the stimulants, just for like "extra credit" to take him down. He was harder, with that smaller head on him... If you're looking for a challenge, this probably isn't it. But it's a load of fun, and there's something hilarious about chasing a bunch of little defenseless aliens around a deserted parking lot.

Four Team Capture the Case - Sent in by: ~Stadel~

Setup: Change the scenario to "Capture the Case" and turn on "One Hit Kills." Change the map to "Fortress," and place the weapons in the following positions:

1. Callisto NTG
2. FarSight XR-20
3. Slayer
4. AR34
5. Crossbow
6. Combat Boost

Set the time to 10. Set the score to 10. Set the team score to 20. Create enough sims to form 4 teams with 2 players per team, setting their difficulty to "Hard" or "Perfect." In the "Team" menu create the 4 teams.

Game: Fortress is a great map for Capture the Case, and this setup will create a especially chaotic situation. Play this scenario as a normal "Capture the Case." It is especially fun, with a team of humans, to assign one the role of sniping with the FarSight on Target Locator mode, and the other the role capturing the flags using the Callisto or the AR34. The Combat Boost makes for fun Slow-Mo gun battles with out being forced to use it throughout the entire game.

ELEVATER - Sent in by: Bill Clinton (Wow! ; )

Setup: Put any weapons on you want, just don't have explosives or farsights. Have two teams, one human and the other put 3 perfectsims. Put the level as the grid. If you want put on slow motion.

Game: All human player try to take and hold the elevator as long as possible, so all players go into the elevater and try to hold back the sims.

John Woo Deathmatch - Sent in by: PerfectWolf01

Setup: It's a tribute to Woo with 2x pistols and slow-mo. EXACT SET-UP REQUIRED FOR MAX COOLNESS!
Scenario: Combat
Options: Slow Motion ON
No Auto-Aim ON
No Player Highlight ON*
No Pickup Highlight ON**
Arena: Complex <>
Weapons: CUSTOM
1. Falcon 2 (Silencer)
2. Laser
3. DY357 Magnum
4. MagSec 4
5. Mauler
6: Phoenix***
Limits: Score: 100
Simulants: VengeSim x5 (Normal)

Game: Now this may not sound fun, but PLEASE, just try it. You'll be hooked for hours (I played it for around 3 hours). Enjoy!

* No player highlight, because things are going to get VERY BLOODY (Laser)!!!
** No pickup highlight, because it might slow the game down?
*** You can change this with Combat Knifes, if you don't like the 'nix.
<> If ya want, change the level. I just though that Complex was coolest for this, though.

PERFECT RISK (One of the best) - Sent in by: Mat Dickie

Setup: First decide how many teams are going to take part, or play as individuals, and construct them as you like. Make sure they're 'Perfect' cause it's gonna be a LONG game. Print out a copy of the gameboard provided (making any changes you want) and share out all of the areas amongst the teams fairly. It's up to you how you indicate who owns what territory - counters, markers, etc.. Now to begin the game have a big all out war - all teams involved - to determine who starts challenging for territory.

Game: Simple. It's Risk, (if you don't know what Risk is: it's a game where wars are fought over territory and basically the winner of the battle takes that territory. They can then attack any other territory that is attached to one they own. The game is won when one person owns all the areas on the map.). Once a starter has been decided, they get to choose where to attack next as long as it is DIRECTLY connected to a territory they have control of. Now when a war is declared the battle takes place on the level being attacked, the team defending the territory gets to choose the weapon set, and the attacker gets to choose the game mode. It is up to you whether to have a simple one-on-one war, between attacker and defender, or to include the other teams in every battle to influence the outcome. Which ever team wins the battle gets control of that area on the map - indicate it on the gameboard - and may now choose another area to attack. Continue fighting over the areas, changing turns in any way you see fit, until one team has conquered all the territories. Click here to download the gameboard image. The image is a .bmp file and is a very fast download.

The Matrix - Sent in by: Nick

Setup: make two teams, one team made up humans and the other made up of perfectsims, its a good idea to have one more perfectsim then human players. Put the weapons as; DY357-LX, CMP150, Cyclone, Laptop Gun, K7 Avenger, and Shotgun. Make sure to have slow motion on. Put all of the perfectsims into tuxedos. Put the level on GRID.

Game: You and your human friends should collect some weapons and then head to the elevater. All of you should fortify the elevater and see how long you can hold onto it. Its really fun.

See No Evil - Sent in by: EGM. Dedicated to Brant Vallier.

Setup: Slap cloaking devices into slot number on and IR goggles into slot six. Put Whatever other weapons you like in the remaining slots. You can play this free-for-all mode against any combination of human and sim opponents.

Game: Combatants will find cloaking devices everywhere, so they'll probably spend most of the game invisible. Whoever finds the rare IR goggles--which lets you see cloaked enemies--will have a definite edge.

Incoming transmission from 2000…

I built this site when I was 12, with some online friends. We took Perfect Dark very seriously.

Restored for nostalgia. Some links are dead. The enthusiasm remains.

Please don’t enter the competitions. February 2000 has been and gone.
