I'm finally in charge of the mailbag so hopefully that will be updated soon. If you have any questions to do with Perfect Dark then email me and they might be included in the next mailbag. Also, I updated the multiplayer section with the correct challenge list and added descriptions for almost all the multiplayer maps. If anyone could send me a description for the sewers, fortress and base maps I'd greatly appreciate it. Now, head on down to our forums!

Multiplayer Scenarios July 12 - Updated
by Matt
@ 3:30 EST
I decided to update the scenario page with only the two pages instead of the five 'cause the last three weren't finished and I knew a lot of you were waiting for more scenarios, so here it is. I'm still working on the rest. Because of the two pages we now have a grand total of 100 scenarios!! Note that the "Quick Links" section on the side might be a little messed up but hopefully Tom will fix that. I also updated the staff (finally!), contact and chat page (got rid of that "Tuesday" thing). Enjoy!
I have to go away for the next few days, so any emails will remain un answered, however we are looking for people to host. If you want to find out the details about the hosting click here. If you want to apply then send a message to me.
Ah yes, like promised I got some cheat walkthroughs up, well no, not some. More to the tune of one. Written by me, for you. The cheat is the Marquis of Queensbury Rules, (did I spell that right?), it is on Special Agent, want to see the walkthrough? Of course you do! So click here.
Progress Report July 11 - Updated
by Matt
@ 12:13 EST
Remember awhile ago I talked about the big update and how I said "in a couple of hours"? Well obviously, that wasn't the case. I was starting to update the scenario list which I assumed would only take a few hours but by the minute more and more scenarios flooded my inbox and the highly popular Multiplayer scenario encyclopedia topic, which delayed the update. I'm currenty working on the third page of scenarios and expect to have a fourth and fifth page considering the amount of scenarios I have. I guess I'll stick with the old saying, "Good things come to those who wait". So hopefully tonight, remember, hopefully.
Beta Updates. July 10 - Updated
by SubDrag
@ 8:05 EST
I've added some gameshark pictures (although not many) to the beta pages and updated them. I'm still in the process of using N64 magazine 30, so there will always be more stuff:
Believe me, you'll want to check them out. Also updated GameShark Page. It has, a 3D modifier for ammo on felicity stairs and ALL the digits, as well as a gun modifier and night vision in multi. Hacked by yours truly.
What we are doing July 10 - Updated
by Tom
@ 7:41 EST
You can expect the Perfect Agent walkthroughs done soon, along with some more pictorial walkthroughs for you, and also, we have some video and text cheat walkthroughs to put up as well. We should have our currently empty cheat archive filled up in no time.
Matt should have made his huge update sooner or later, SubDrag has some more exciting GameShark codes for you, and hopefully a Action Replay page as well. And me? Well, I am putting the finishing touches on my review, and also I am working on a new section and some other bits and bobs.
We are really busy around here at the moment and it will show in the next week or so.
It seems that two sites are still down PDark, and The PD Site. I asked Mr. ?? at PDark and he said that things will be back up pretty soon, just a matter of time. But as for The PD Site, who knows?
Also we got three new staff members to introduce to you, so stay tuned.
BTW, if you are feeling a little bored then why don't you try the forums?
War! is mine! July 9 - Updated
by SubDrag
@ 9:04 EST
I finally have beaten all normal Perfect Agent levels, have Perfect Dark mode, and War! It's going to take a while to beat Maian SOS and War! on Perfect, but I'll try...
I was doing a regular check over at IGN and found a very interesting article, an article on Perfect Dark for Japan, apparently Perfect Dark may have a name change for the Japanese market, you can read that story here.
And they also had a very interesting article on what the final name of the next-gen Nintendo, and they have come to the conclusion (due to patents and the like) Star Cube. Now if this is the final name, then Nintendo have lost it! I mean, Star Cube?!? We all knew that Star Cube was related to Nintendo, but I think that it sounds stupid for a name. Still, this is all speculation, we will find out for certain in August.

The beta gameshark perfect dark page will be here soon...and the real image mod...hoverbike multi...it's all here. A few days away.
Pdark.com are still down. They said they were expecting tecnical difficulties while a change of servers took place, but it has been a while. They been down for the last 3 days or so. But, they should return any time soon.
There is a great new site out there that I think you should have a look at, www.allpd.com. They haven't been around for that long, but they still have great content. If you are looking for some new sites to scan, then have a look.
I Need Your Help! July 5 - Updated
by Matt
@ 10:03 EST
Since I basically got a new computer I had to reinstall ICQ and the ActiveList manager. Here's the problem: When I opened the ActiveList manager it asked to create a new ActiveList or register an existing account to I went for the register an existing account option. It then asked to type in the Perfect Dark ActiveList’s ID# so I typed in 75388310. It then registered it and brought up the manager but it said that there was only one member, me, when there really should be 100+ members. I don't think that the ActiveList even went online for all those 130+ members. Can someone please help me!?! Why does it only say there’s 1 member? Why did the list go online for those 130+ members? E-mail me or send me a message through ICQ. My number is 73809706. Thanks a lot.

I did not realize this was ever out until Andy of RareWeb told me about it. It seems to have a lot more information, especially about some of the earliest stuff. I'm trying to buy it from the company, but they're not getting back to me.
If possible, can someone please scan and send me every page of the preview? I'll give you full picture credit. Just send them to me at

Now, the latest Perfect Dark grub is as follows: GamePlay.com just interviewed Rare which, as any PD gamer should know, is a must read. Loads of comments, question, and, you guess it, answers! So click on over to GamePlay.com.
I was browsing the forums, or for-UMS if you're Matt :), and I noticed that certain people have put a few pictures on there sigs. Well, I don't mind if you do, but, there is a limit. So if it starts to get sleazy (You know what I mean), then images will be banned. Ok? And I will then post the name of the person that caused me to ban the pictures, and post there e-mail adress so you can bomb then 100 times. Understand? Good.

Go to our great forums and start a controversy! Speaking of crates (was I talking about crates?) check out this e-mail from Someone Whocares:
I have a few things to say about that tiny ammo crate in Mr. Blonde's Revenge: 1. It's also in the first and third levels. 2. You CAN pick it up. 3. I don't see what's so special about it, since it's the same size as the other ammo boxes on the office desks.
Now that was a good read. While you're waiting for IGN64.com to finally update check out our forums!
I tried my luck at getting some time cheats last night. After many attempts at getting them I came up with, the Marquis of Queensbury Rules cheat, the Hurricane Fists cheat, and the Cloaking Device cheat. We have some cheat walkthroughs lined up as well, so stay tuned.
Oh, and I also just brought an Action Replay (The PAL version of a Game Shark), just in case you wanted to know...
Our host, http://www.n64shooters.com, have written a huge review on Perfect Dark, I mean seriously huge, 15,00 words, 19 pages long. So sit down, make your self a sandwich or something, and go read it.

More Walkthroughs!!! July 2 - Updated
by Tom
@ 5:28 EST
Yep, even more. These aren't pictorial walkthroughs, they are just text. Written by a guy called Dallas. I already had the Agent guide put up, but now I have half of the Special Agent done. And I just realised that all the directories I made were under Secret Agent, and not Special Agent! Stupid me, to much Bond. But I really can not be stuffed fixing it, you can live with that, can't you? The actual menu is under special agent, so that's okay. If you don't know what I mean, never mind.
Another Pictorial Guide July 2 - Updated

Pictorial Walkthroughs July 1 - Updated
by Tom
@ 9:16 EST
OK, I thought I might test out my new Capture Card, and what better way with some Pictorial Walkthroughs, I have only done the dD levels on Agent, most of you have already done them, but, I will do all the levels on all dificulties, eventually. It is 2 in the morning over here, so I am not going to add them to the walkthrough page tonight. So you can get them from this update.
Since Matt's computer is screwed up, I have had to do his work, and I put "The Arena" review into HTML. It is exactly the same as the .txt version Matt posted before, just nicer to look at. Thanks to Competitive Systems for giving us The Arena. At first we turned them down from the amount of struggle and heartache it would be to get a truly awesome product for free, but, then we realised we had moral duties to perform. So we had no choice but to accept their terrible offer. I know, I know, it is all about sacrifice people .
I finally got the Arena review uploaded! So much has happened this past month with computer problems I just didn't get a chance to upload it 'till now. Sorry about the delay Mike. Since my computer is still messed up I can't display the review alongside our template, hopefully that'll be fixed soon *cough* Tom *cough*. Anyways, read here to find out if the Arena by Competitive Systems is worth the investment...
The month hasn't ended so at the moment, no news!
Incoming transmission from 2000…
I built this site when I was 12, with some online friends. We took Perfect Dark very seriously.
Restored for nostalgia. Some links are dead. The enthusiasm remains.
Please don’t enter the competitions. February 2000 has been and gone.
